Special Lifts

The pictures below are all Special Requirement Lifts made to an individual spec:

 

·         Red Ducati vehicle was fitted with an extended platform, Mega lift, capable of carrying the weight of a motorbike and passenger.

 

·         Blue and silver American Fire engine/incident support vehicle fitted with a, Stretcher Mega Lift, for a quick efficient response.

 

·         National Express Coach is fitted with a Super Wide Mega Lift designed to carry purely passengers.

 

·         The ‘Boat Lift’ has no carriage and was specially made for pupils to use in an underground training centre in London called The Platform Awareness Program on the underground systems. This is used by local schools to enhance awareness on public underground transport safety.

.      The common ‘special design’ for a mobile library /youth centre/post office or training centre. This lift is usually designed and fitted to the bare chassis before build of the body. Dependant on where the lift is to be fitted (rear or side of vehicle) depends on the wide variety of sizes available to fit. Multifunctional vehicles are now becoming more sort after within the public transport area.
